The flower exhibition complex is situated just below the Ridge Park and adjacent to the White Memorial Hall. It is a walking distance from the main market. Opposite the Flower Show is the White Hall built in typical British architecture in memory of the first Political officer of Sikkim, Claude White in 1932. The Ridge Park is a small stretch of plain and straight road leading to the Palace gate. Banjhakri Falls and Energy Park

Ban Jhakri Falls is about 5 kilometers from Gangtok and is accessible by an all weather metalled road. This park has a shamanistic theme. The main attraction of the park is the waterfalls which cascades from a rocky height of almost 40 feet and plunges down with intense force. Around the waterfalls gardens have been beautifully landscaped and the place is further adorned with several statues of Ban Jhakri, Lyam Lymay, Mangpas and Lepcha ancestors. Fambonglho Wildlife Sanctuary

The Fambong Lho Wildlife Sanctuary is a beautiful forest reserve covering a small area of 33ha, and is easily the best place to see more than 20 different species of rhododendrons endemic to Sikkim. The Sanctuary shelters the Himalayan black bear, red panda, civet cat (including a rare civet called the binturong or bear-cat), and many varieties of birds and butterflies. Samdruptse and Ngadak Monastery

Samdruptse which translates as "The wish fulfilling hill" in local Bhutia language is a short distance uphill from Namchi, on Samdruptse hill where stands a giant statue of Guru Padmasambhava, gazing upon the town and across the hills. It is 45m tall and covered in shimmering gold, sparkles in the sun. It is an incredible feat of engineering, built in 1997. Situated at a distance of 24 km away from the capital town of Gangtok, in a hillock, facing Gangtok, the Rumtek monastery also known as the Dharma Chakra Center serves as the seat of His Holiness Gyawla Karmapa the XVI, the head of the Karma Kagyu order of Tibetan Buddhism. The monastery is the replica of the original monastery in Tsurpu in Tibet. The main monastery is a four storey structure building, fortified by the monk’s quarter. Lal Bazaar portrays the true vibrant color of Sikkim; it is the market where local farmers from around Gangtok congregate to sell their products. One of the six premier monasteries of Sikkim, Phodong Gompa is situated 38 kilometres from Gangtok. This monastery belongs to the Karma Kagyu sect and was built by Chogyal Gyurmed Namgyal in 1740. This historical site is located 17 km form Gangtok on the North Sikkim Highway. Tosar Lake Trekking

Tosar Lake is located at the junction of the Mangan Ridge and the Chola range. To the south east of the lake, is a giant cliff or mountain overlooking the lake. It is considered sacred and worshiped by the local people. This trek takes on the old traditional yak and cow trails in the Reserve forest and starts from Naga, Meyong, and Kaley with an altitude ranging from 1800 meters to 4000 meters at Tosar Lake. It passes through soggy temperature forest of broad leaved species and bamboos, temperate forest of conifer and rhodendron and damp alpine.
